What is Anger ?
Anger is a strong feeling of displeasure with someone or something, combined with an urge to fight back.
Anger varies from person to person from situation to situation. Uncontrolled anger can negatively affect both
your health and your relationships.
What is stress ?
Stress is a fact of life, wherever you are and whatever you are doing. You cannot avoid stress, but you can
learn to manage it so it doesn’t manage you.
Our body is designed to experience stress and react to it. Stress is of two types.
  • Acute Stress
  • Chronic stress

 

Acute stress is short-term stress that goes away quickly but Chronic stress lasts for a longer period.
Causes of Stress
The most frequent reasons for “stressing out” fall into three main categories:
  • The unsettling effects of change
  • The feeling that an outside force is challenging or
    threatening you
  • The feeling that you have lost personal control
Life events such as marriage, changing jobs, divorce, or the death of a relative or friend are the most common causes of stress. Although life-threatening events are less common, they can be the most physiologically and psychologically acute
Stress can lead to emotional and mental symptoms like:
  • Panic attacks
  • Worrying all the time
  • Feeling you’re under constant pressure
  • Headaches, nausea, palpitations, etc
  • Overeating
  • Depression
  • Smoking
  • Frustration
  • Withdrawal from family and friends
  • Uncontrolled Anger
